KeepUp with the Thompson's. Thursday, April 28, 2011. Going for a Ride. The Independence Mall has a mini train you can ride around the lower level, so Aunt Tinney took both the boys on a fun ride. We would've been broke if they had these kind of attractions when I was a kid. The only mall "attractions" we had to look forward to were Santa and the Christmas train (that went in a small oval) and the Easter Bunny. They had fun stuff at the mall when we were little (remember the carousel? Did they clone me?

Thursday, July 30, 2015. Haiti, part 3. Monday. Wow. Couldn't have prepared myself for this day. Pretty much as soon as we stepped off the tap tap at the orphanage, kids started coming up to us and touching us, grabbing our hands and walking us toward the building. It was sort of surreal, for someone that has never been in that situation. These kids LOVED the camera and were absolute hams! While we were meeting with the pastor, I wanted to catch these kids with this cute white baby! And some great swings.
