It’s hard to believe that one year ago I was in New Orleans celebrating Mardi Gras with my sister and niece, and preparing for life with a chemo patient. So much has changed. A Journey with Hodgkins. This morning driving down the hill from Foresthill at an incredibly early 5:45 am, Keith informed me that this was his last week. I assumed he meant that it was the last week he could have a beer with his buddies, but he said it was the last week of a normal life for a long time. After next Monday, our life style will change for a while. We’re both ready for the next phase. We’re ready to do what it takes and move through this, hopefully with some grace and style.
