Thursday, July 31, 2008. We left work early last night, went home to pick up the kids and then headed to Lawrence, KS to see the new football facility at KU. Before you read any farther.believe it or not this was MY idea and not my sportsaholic husband. The thing is I LOVE. Going to Lawrence and I knew he would agree when I told him what we could see. However, I begged and begged to go to Lawrence when KU won the basketball tournament and he didn't want to go then? The locker room is absolutely humongous!

Monday, June 30, 2008. On Saturday afternoon we told the kids that we were going to go to Nebraska Furniture Mart to look at dishwashers. (I. I had called Community America Ballpark on Friday and asked questions about the Selena Gomez Meet and Greet. They had told me I needed to get to the ballpark by 4:00PM to get in line because Selena was only going to sign 300 autographs. They also told me they were giving out a free door hanger. That could be signed or I could buy a Tshirt. Of us who waited an hour!

Tuesday, September 16, 2008. I had to take a mental day from work today. I have so much to do at home that I thought it was best to just get it done rather than carrying all the stress around with me worrying about getting it done. Saturday, September 13, 2008. I had been looking forward to this weekend for weeks. We didn't have anything at all planned, which is rare for us, and all I wanted to do was relax. I had been craving a burnt end sandwich all week long so my husband and I were going to go get one, bring it home, and watch the KU. We had to take shelter until 15 minutes before the game started so Sonic had to do. Tonight we are going to go see Pam's kitchen (she has been painting it) and then go out to dinner with her.
