Some of the best memories of my childhood are weekend mornings with my family all in the kitchen making (and eating! My favorite breakfast.fried eggs, pancakes, bacon, biscuits and gravy. It's amazing how quickly time flies when you're having fun! This year.really the past 2 months have brought quite a few changes to our lives. Justin is now a year old.I'm having a tough time with that one. It's cliche' I know, but it DOES seem like just yesterday that he was born! What a difference a year makes! Just before Christmas, he had to have 6 baby teeth pulled - "OUCH"! He still has 2 baby ones left but everyone figured they'd come out on their own with nothing left around them! Then Gary and I had to have the "financial talk" with the Ortho Office! That was our "OUCH"! Cincinnati Bengal colors, of course!

The kids have been busy making lots of presents, singing in our church kids' choir, and tearing their paper chains as they count down to the BIG DAY! So far so good (since today was only the first day) :o). HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JASON! We can't believe you turned "13" today . . . . 2 more years - driving permit; 3 more years - license; 5 more years - college, okay . . . I'm crying now! Seriously, We love you, Jay! What a gorgeous day we're having . . . sunny, warmer, a little breezy . . . definitely feels "springy"! I've got some windows open and am starting to feel the need to clean! Notice I said "starting to feel" the need to clean - I'm not actually getting to it yet :) Gotta love spring cleaning! We're all feeling better from our last horrible cold! It just feels like a great day!

Sadly, today was the last day of our Christmas break! Gary and the kids have been home for 13 days! But we've got to head back to the regular routine tomorrow :o(. She had never been skating before. But let go of the rail pretty early. And really built up some speed! So today we celebrated with a fun family day . . . we went ice skating! But he did GREAT!

We all came upstairs and Gary and the girl's headed out . . . he called moments after he left to describe what he was seeing just a few miles from our home - destruction! The ball fields where the kids play were hit. . . trees snapped and uprooted, bleachers thrown around like toys! This was one of the fields Jason. Played on last year!
