Add Spices and Herbs to your Meals. I was raised in the Midwest. I believe the only seasoning used in our household were just black pepper and salt. Only because they didn’t know better and in the winter the stores didn’t have fresh herbs. The stores were nothing like they are today. Besides adding flavor to a dish, they are also good for your health. I worked at a well known restaurant Delmonico’s on St. Charles Avenue. January 8, 2015. January 8, 2015. Creole bone in ham baked. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Smear Creole mustard or a coarse brown mustard completely over the ham. Coat the mustard with brown sugar. Place in a 2 inch high baking pan. Place the coated ham in the pan and add one inch of Coca cola. Make a tent out of the foil and place over the ham. You don’t. Want to cover it tightly or your ham will just steam. Bake for about 2 hours depending on the size of the ham. When the meat pulls away from the bone it is done. January 15, 2015. Health...

On the Road to Academia. May 25, 2013. Displaced Desire and ‘Symbolic Physiognomy’: Alan Davison on Rossetti and Music. Rossetti’s use of instruments appears at first glance to be the idiosyncratic approach of an artist with a magpie-like attraction to visually arresting objects.’ [1]. The exotic instruments in D.G. Rossetti’s paintings have frequently been remarked upon. [2]. Extracting the instrument from context, Davison examines its function within the pictorial composition of Rossetti’s works, and c...
