Multimedia Design: January 2008
http://vickyreynolds.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Monday, 14 January 2008. Discussed the Colour Wheel , the idea came from Isaac Newton. He split colours. Bauhaus Museum in Germany work with colour. There are various colour wheels, primary (general colours), secondary. Formed by mixing primary) and Tertiary (formed by mixing both). Primary colours clash and are generally avoided unless hints and shades are used. Logo is very cool! Watch out for font size, white space is generally good. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Wednesday, 30 April 2008. Spectacular Time and Comfort Thesis. Moving on to the class discussion, and gaining an understanding of the essence of the text as a whole, I still do not feel able to analyze the chapter in definite detail, however I did extract a better grasp of the meaning of the chapter I read, and began to interpret what Deboard is saying as the following:. Multimedia Design: D & AD
http://vickyreynolds.blogspot.com/2008/02/d-ad.html
Monday, 18 February 2008. Reading through the lots and lots of brief ideas I am torn between choosing one for illustration and advertising or one for animation. Animation would mean I can use flash again and I am just getting into that since my last project. The briefs that currently interest me are Nando's. As I like the style of the current website. It comes across as very cosmopolitan. I was also thinking of keeping things simple and choosing a travel brief such as lastminute. 4 March 2008 at 03:24.

My BA Digital Media Design Blog: First Day Back...
http://lucyirving.blogspot.com/2008/03/first-day-back.html
My BA Digital Media Design Blog. A blog for my BA digital Media Design course. Monday, 31 March 2008. Good discussion this morning, nice to see the book by Lawrence Zeegen brought in by Chris. I really like his style and actually accidentally came across one of the people he talks about in his book – Secrets of Digital Illustration: Simon Oxley. He presents his work in a really interesting way and his website is definitely worth a look - www.idokungfoo.com. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

The Thought Bubble: 3d Magic Eye Tetris
http://sitavickery.blogspot.com/2007/12/3d-magic-eye-tetris.html
BA Digital Media Design Blog. Friday, 7 December 2007. 3d Magic Eye Tetris. Http:/ www.lutanho.net/play/magiceyetetris.html. This seems quite interestingly odd! I gave it a go but all I could see were lines coming down, no interlocking shapes. Could you make out any other shapes? The idea of it kind of fits with what I’m looking into at the moment-illusions and perception etc. 10 December 2007 at 14:54. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
