It’s a beautiful day, the sun’s out and the mold in my room is struggling to survive – thanks to drier weather and Lysol! As I learn to trust more and more in God and allow him to establish these interwoven connections in my life, the foreign slowly inches toward (and one day will become) the familiar.

I've read accounts of other moms in similar ultrasound scenarios, several of them inspirational. In I Will Carry You. I didn't have anything like that to say after we learned of Annie's prognosis. I wish I did. It makes for a better story. A more bloggable one, anyway. All I had were tears and hurt and confusion.

We calculated the nutrition for the chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter frosting and were able to officially conclude that they are in fact healthier than a typical cupcake.
