The 10-inch telescope was constructed in the late 70's while I was living in Chicago. The mirror is a full-thickness Coulter f/5.5 with a excellent figure. Most of the time. In late 2007, I purchased the SBIG ST2000XM, used, with a color filter wheel and AO-7. I've been using it exclusively since early 2008 but only began to make color images in September of 2008. So far, I have not used the AO-7 and am not sure I ever will.

Johnson Space Center Astronomical Society (JSCAS). The club that started it all! I attended my first Johnson Space Center Astronomical Society meeting in December of 1997 in hopes to re-spark a childhood passion of mine. It was made clear in the begining that in order to join this club you only had to show up. No dues, no by laws, just have a passion for astronomy. Seems to work since this club has been around since May 29th, 1967. Al Kelly's CCD Astrophotography Page. Randy Brewer's Astronomy Web. Best ...
