Saturday, November 24, 2012. 930 am game vs Mississippi State . which went better than Monday's. We followed up the game with a stop at Aloha Mixed Plate, which J had read about. Nice outside seating w a view of the water. I had mixed plate with shoyu chicken, teriyaki beef, white fish, and rice. Justin had the same except ribs instead of fish. Best Burger in Maui. We then headed into Lahaina for lunch at Cool Cat Cafe . which had won the award for best burger in Maui for 8 years running. It had ...Well,...

Saturday, September 29, 2012. Our trip, by the numbers. In the last 15 days Christine and I have . Been to 2 countries and 8 cities. Spent 24 hours on a plane, 8.5 hours on a train, and 5 hours on a bus. We also spent time on a boat, a cable car, 2 tourist buses, taxis, and two different subway systems. Read 12 books (6 apiece) and watched 6 movies. Drank an unknown quantity of wine. Stayed in 7 hotel rooms. Took appropriately 1,500 pictures . which will be posted soon! Barthelona, as the locals say.

Friday, April 25, 2014. And our waiter was fantastic.younger guy who was very chatty. I asked if they learned English in school and he said "no, you are my teachers! Anyway, they gave us brueschetta on the house, so we left a huge tip since he'd been so fun to talk to. So, either he thinks we left a nice tip or can't convert colones to dollars correctly :).
