Tuesday, January 27, 2009. Oscar Wilde's "The Critic As Artist". I don't think that I agree with the extreme to which he makes his claims. Do I agree that a critic is not only a reviewer, but also an artist? Television Networks Changing Things Up. Bill Carter's article "New on the Networks: Safe Formulas From the Past" presents a really interesting look at how the networks are doing (not good) and how much they're scrambling to change things up this winter/spring in an effort to bring ratings back up.
