From the Eyes of a Child: reversing roles
http://realitymomma.blogspot.com/2009/07/reversing-roles.html
From the Eyes of a Child. Since becoming a parent almost 9 years ago, my perception on life has circled many times. When you see life through the eyes of a child, it takes on a different meaning. Friday, July 31, 2009. Two knee surgeries (same knee), an ovarian cyst removed, a concussion, and 3 babies. WOW! Well, we don't know exactly what is wrong with her yet. Lots of tests are being done and we will keep testing until we figure it out. I have been up here as much as I can. With my girls th...I went th...

Transformed: I'm Hip! Are you?
http://ministrymama.blogspot.com/2009/07/im-so-hip-are-you.html
Thursday, July 9, 2009. I'm feeling exceptionally "hip" these days. I'm using words like "twitter", "facebook", and "smart phone". And, I'm not just using them, I actually know what they mean! I can usually hold my own when the teens are talking technology in our Wednesday night bible class at church. Overall, I am quite impressed with myself! And my smart phone makes me feel anything but smart! Why do we shy away from change? From the things that modernize us? I want to be the church that can keep up wi...

Life With The Howell's: July 2013
http://thehowell3.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
July 9, 2013. Well, it happened. First broken bone. Four. Weeks weeks ago, Rylee broke her foot. We went to ortho, and he put her in a walking boot. She couldn't bear any weight on it, and had to use her crutches 24/7. BTW, an 8 year on crutches is a pain in the rear. For real. Well, after 3checks ups and 3 more x-rays, yesterday he decided to put her in a hard cast. GREAT! It's summer in Texas, and she's in a hard cast. She's not happy! No swimming, no dancing, just sitting around, watching TV. BOO!

Transformed: May 2008
http://ministrymama.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 30, 2008. On the Hunt . . . I've become a regular at Sears. I know every appliance in the store. In fact, we are on a first name basis. I've met the lovely, shiny, way out of my price range, GE Profile. The fancy, bells-and-whistles, only-in-my-dreams Bosch. The Kenmores. The whole experience got me thinking. . . am I putting as much effort into my prayer-life? Do I give up quickly when I don't see the results I'm looking for? Do I let the devil convince me that I don't have enough time?
