our life in fayetteville...: January 2013
http://whereisarkansas.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Our life in fayetteville. Thursday, January 17, 2013. When you can't help but smile! So we missed THE picture. The one with the 4 month sticker on the white onesie, a matching bow in her hair and 4 balloons. In our defense, we were in Akron on December 25th and between work, adjusting to her new school and traveling, the days slipped by way too fast. Kennedy had her 4 month well checkup and is doing great! She is in the 40% for weight (never would guess that with those chubby cheeks! Napping - not so gre...

our life in fayetteville...: Let the Videos Begin!
http://whereisarkansas.blogspot.com/2012/12/let-videos-begin.html
Our life in fayetteville. Monday, December 17, 2012. Let the Videos Begin! Nick and I both know these videos are the product of first time parents catching the little things that are SUCH a big deal. But, we can't help but smile watching them over and over again. Kennedy gave us her first giggle last week. With a lot of encouragement (and bouncing) she cooperated and shared a "little giggle" on video. We aren't so sure how we feel about this but it sure is cute! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Musings on Motherhood: Lovely Charlie
http://vanhimbergen.blogspot.com/2014/10/lovely-charlie.html
Sunday, October 12, 2014. You showed up at my bedside at 3:30 am buck naked and crying, asking if I could help you find your Ninja Turtle mask. Charlie, where are your clothes? I was getting dressed. I can't find my Ninja Turtle mask. There was worry and desperation in your voice. I got out of bed, foggy, confused about your nakedness, puzzled by your alertness at this hour of the night. You took me downstairs. I turned on the kitchen light. Yes, I remember. You're such a good boy, Charlie. Thank you for...

Musings on Motherhood: Envy
http://vanhimbergen.blogspot.com/2014/11/envy.html
Thursday, November 6, 2014. A momma sloth carries her baby around for the first year of life. She hangs from tree branches and climbs from limb to limb gathering leaves with her sloth baby clinging to her fur all the while. They're never apart. Baby grabs on with her three-toed paws so Momma never has to let go. Mommy, will you sing us that song you've been singing about the river? I can't, Finny. I'm sorry. I have to go get Gideon. It's just me right now and he's upset.". This time of night after Finny ...

our life in fayetteville...: 5-6 Months
http://whereisarkansas.blogspot.com/2013/03/5-6-months.html
Our life in fayetteville. Saturday, March 16, 2013. Where does the time go? Clearly, we've dropped the ball on the blog. Life has been busy - busy as parents, at work and just life in general. I feel like that's our common theme but in all honesty we love it that way! Kennedy is growing up WAY too fast but we are enjoying and soaking in every moment. Here are some highlights over the past two months. At 6 Months, Kennedy is now almost 17lbs and over the 50% in height and weight. Chubby Cheeks and Thighs.

Being Real, Not Perfect. : March 2015
http://tanyavok.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Being Real, Not Perfect. I haven't been everywhere, but it's on my list. Charity Event, Singapore. The past several weeks have been very busy, socially. Dinners, drinks, birthday's, wedding dress shopping, mani/pedi's, coffee catch ups and more. I have two new favourite bars, both serving cocktails and martini's, one even with daily happy hours from 6-9:30pm. Too fun! I also invited some Stamford girls along for the night. Tanz, Libby, Milly, Ange, Me, Monica and Louise. Blondes have more fun!
