December 4, 2013. 8220;Dad, I’m going start running 5 miles a day.”. My third son, Michael, wanted to train for a 5k. He made his own plan and has been sticking to it, consistently running between 2.5 and 2.75 miles a day. On Saturday he ran 4 miles and really did well. He was on a high, but a little sore, so he decided to take Sunday off, which we agreed was a good idea. Because he did so well running 4, he upped his plan to 4. Monday he couldn’t get motivated to even. Get Comfortable Being Uncomfortable.
