Two fish and a chick with sticks. Tuesday, 28 October 2008. I've really got back into knitting large projects lately. I guess it's the cold weather that's making me feel the need for warm clothing, and lots of it! Latest off my needles is a sweater called 'Ingenue' (Rav Project Link here. Knitted in Debbie Bliss Cotton Angora yarn. The pattern's from Wendy Bernard's. Or slinky and off the shoulders like this:. I love a garment that's this adaptable! http://twofishandachick.blogspot.com/2008/11/new-arrivals.html
Two fish and a chick with sticks. Friday, 14 November 2008. Exciting news, my flock of pedigree Coloured Ryeland sheep has grown! Yesterday I collected three lovely ewes from a farm in Wales. I don't have good photos of them yet as they've spent today inside recovering from their long trip. However, here's a sneak preview, aren't they cute? They've been sharing a field with a coloured Ryeland ram on their previous farm, so they may be expecting lambs in the spring. I'll get the vet to check that out ...

As soon as i had knitted the last stitch on the mega sweater for my brother i cast on for another project. i had been inspired by mandy's. Knittings, rippings and ramblings of an obsessive knitter. Monday, April 21, 2008. A red aran for a little girl. The yarn is debbie bliss: luxury donegal tweed. it is one ply with green and blue flecks and the cable is a barbara walker thing. one side is moss stich, the other stockinette. One ply is not optimal for cables but i do think they stand out pretty well due to the weight of the yarn. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). FEEDJIT Live Traffic Feed.
