http://katiecgm.blogspot.com/2013/09/homeschool-preschool.html
Monday, September 30, 2013. The decision to pull them out of preschool. Bradley and Kiersten were in the most amazing preschool last year and we wanted to find them a preschool for this year so they don't regress what they know. Here is what our schedule looked like those first couple weeks:. 7:20 drop Adam off at one the four schools (he rotates daily). 7:30 hang out at the preschool parking lot until 8:00 when the school opened for drop offs. Man, that was exhausting typing that. It was really hard on ...

Mitchell twins and tangents: Homeschool Preschool Lessons
http://katiecgm.blogspot.com/2013/09/homeschool-preschool-lessons.html
Monday, September 30, 2013. Here are several ideas of what we have done for preschool. I came up with the ideas from Pinterest and from things I saw from their preschool program last year. I take pictures everyday to share with my parents and to remind me of what we have already done. You can't really see their papers in the picture but I wrote numbers on a piece of paper and drew circles underneath. They counted out beans and placed them in the corresponding circle. Monday, September 30, 2013. Easter, T...

Mitchell twins and tangents: April 2012
http://katiecgm.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 30, 2012. I had my D&C on Friday. It wasn't difficult physically, but mentally it was the hardest thing I had to do. I went to the ambulatory services, which in the hospital I went to, is just around the corner from the maternity ward. I was the very first bed to the door and could see the hall way. And really, why do the nurses have to ask such STUPID questions? For example- is there any chance that your pregnant right now? The nurses apologized and it sure shut the guy up next me! This bl...

Our Corner of Heaven: Madilynn's Story
http://waitingforalexa.blogspot.com/p/madilynns-story.html
Alex and I have always wanted children. Alexa was born after 5 years of trying and Madilynn took about 2 years. I had just decided we needed to look into adoption when we found out we were pregnant. We were so excited to be expecting again! We had always worried about down syndrome because of our age, but Dwarfism? I honestly felt like I was having an out of body experience.this kind of thing didn't happen to people we knew, let alone us. This is my journal entry the day after getting the news. Just Smal...

http://waitingforalexa.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 28, 2008. MD's are no help! To top it all off my car wouldn't start and I had to call Alex to come up to Paradise to help us.of course the minute he tries to start the car it works. Between that and Alexa crying the entire way up to Paradise, I LOST it! Crying is a good thing. I cried, cried, cried.then slept! As I was getting up from my nap I looked in on Alexa and my heart filled with joy, just having her in my life is sooo worth all the problems and pain she puts me through! My favorite ...

Mitchell twins and tangents: October 2013
http://katiecgm.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 25, 2013. Can I get a little alone time? Bradley and Kiersten do wild and crazy things and I am horrible at journaling which is the main reason of writing in my blog so I can remember their shenanigans later. Take one during the kids nap time? Ha, I am the only one sleeping during that block of time. They just have playtime in their bedroom with the door shut and they love to come out of their rooms the whole time. I have been surprised with stuff like. Can you get out and help me? So thi...

Mitchell twins and tangents: September 2012
http://katiecgm.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Saturday, September 8, 2012. Bradley and Kiersten turned three years old last month! Kiersten got Bambi, which by the way, is a super scary movie! Singing to the kids. They wanted to have a Dora and Diego cupcake. About a month ago while visiting Modesto, we found cupcakes in the bakery with little plastic heads of Dora, Boots, and Diego. Lucky for us, they forgot about them so they were so excited to see them! Saturday, September 08, 2012. The kids are going to preschool this year! They are so grown up!
