The ones of the previous page changed slightly following review, discussion, criticism, tears, yelling, arguing, acceptance and finally putting my foot down and insisting on what I wanted. We started with the bottom and decided to try our hand with lap joints. We didn't have any fancy dado saw (the thing with the wide blade) so we had to go old school.

I start by introducing the hand and then suggesting how you might want to play it. The best way to do it is to use the loser-on-loser play. Draw trumps in 2 rounds (good start). Play the A of diamonds and lead the Q of diamonds. If it is covered by the K, ruff, return to dummy and discard a H on the J of Diamonds.
