I apologize, but if it comes down to typing a blog or sitting on the beach, what would you choose? That reminds me, I need to hurry up and get this done so I can go to the beach 😉. Arriverderci, Italy Bonjour, France! June 16, 2012. Suddenly our surroundings made more sense, lol. We found a street kebab vendor and ate our kebabs while we sat and people watched in front of the Moulin Rouge. The Arc de Triumph. June 10, 2012. After Pompeii we went on to Rome! Once we got close to the fountain there was an emptier area with room to sit and I started to enjoy myself a lot more. June 10, 2012. Our first day in Amalfi we took a bus to a town up in the mountains and hiked from there (Bonorama) down to a town by the ocean (Positano). The trail that we hiked was called the path of the Gods or something like that (loosely translated from it’s Italian name). The hike took us about 4 hours and we were feeling the burn, but the views were AMAZING. Kevin helped me shell the shrimp, but that’s just a minor detail). Images from our hike. When we left Milan we had a series of train rides that took us through Switzerland into southern France and we ended up in Chamonix, France (which is in the Alps).
