Tanner Travels: November 2008
http://jared-adri.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 23, 2008. 35 weeks-35 days to go. Elena recently wanted to have a baby in her tummy, too! I just realized that if this baby is born the same time in the pregnancy as E was, we have 18 days left. Wow! Mind you, I think this baby will wait (or perhaps go past) her due date, and I'm telling myself January so I won't be disappointed if her due date comes and goes without a baby. Due dates are overrated. :) But boy, do we have a lot of work to do! Posted by Jared and Adri. I was pretty upset&...

Tanner Travels: June 2009
http://jared-adri.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 19, 2009. AAhhhhh.Summer in Spokane. The winter was long, cold, snowy and a bit depressing, but summer is making up for it! As I told Jared last night, I am rather fond of summer in Spokane! Here we are in mid-to-late June and we haven't used air conditioning in our house yet! Heck, we don't even own one yet! Although we're buying 2 small window units from friends who are moving to England today. Anyway, my point is that this is the mildest summer I've ever seen and I like it! Michelle is a ...

Tanner Travels: October 2008
http://jared-adri.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 24, 2008. When we got here we were happy to find an apple tree in our new backyard, loaded with apples! The tree hasn't been cared for in a while, it is overgrown and the tons of apples are really wormy.(By the way Mom and Dad, thanks for the awesome pruning job when you were here). The apples are perfect for applesauce! It took awhile to get them peeled, cored, and de-wormed (mmmm protein! But we have our first batch of warm, chunky, low sugar homemade applesauce! Tanner Travels: Well friends.....
http://jared-adri.blogspot.com/2011/01/well-friends.html
Thursday, January 6, 2011. I'm back. At least for today. Just jump right back in. Okay, I can do that. And I'm not going to hold myself to any kind of standard for this blog. Ok, let's jump back in! So as you probably know I'm frugal, and I like couponing. Nothing too crazy, just like matching coupons with sales and keeping a small stockpile. Also my mom got us lots of groceries when they were here for Thanksgiving. Back to the brainstorm: "Hey! So that's what I'm doing. Coffee, peanut butter, and milk&#...

Friday, March 27, 2009. Well, friends, as some of you know, Jared left January 19th for his first KC-135 deployment. He deployed to Manas Air Base in Kyrgystan-14 time zones ahead of us here in Pacific time. He came home safely to us on Tuesday. Thank You, Jesus! I must say, though, that we had an incredible amount of help, offers of help, and support! Our Blackhawk family (squadr. Posted by Jared and Adri. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). http://jared-adri.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 23, 2008. The Results Are In! And we are having a BABY GIRL! We have two daughters! The first question we seem to be getting so far is "do you have any names picked out? Actually we are just starting to think about names. We are open to suggestions. The ultrasound tech did a 4D during the exam and we got to watch our baby girl move, yawn, drink and she even smiled while we were watching her. Her eyes were even open! We can't wait to hold her in December! Posted by Jared and Adri. An Of...

Tanner Travels: Off we go....
http://jared-adri.blogspot.com/2011/03/off-we-go.html
Tuesday, March 1, 2011. Well, it's official. We're moving to Altus, Oklahoma in July. Now, the first things most military spouses think of when they think of Altus are sweltering heat, bugs (including huge hairy tarantulas), mold, and having to drive 40 miles to see any semblance of a city. Altus, where tornadoes come through often and the power has gone out every single time we've been there. And hasn't God always taken care of us? Pulling myself together . WAYYY closer to family! From what we've heard,...

Wednesday, February 16, 2011. Well friends, the January Grocery Experiment culminated this week with 28 lbs. of wonderful beef in our freezer, purchased from friends at church with some of the leftover January grocery money! Their family raises beef not too far from here. Yeah! Some of the recipes we did enjoy:. Spicy Tuna Melt Pie from the 5 Dollar Dinner Mom. (well I enjoyed it. I probably won't make it again because the rest of the family didn't really like it at all). The Ultimate White Chicken Chili.
