Tuesday, April 15, 2014. Dedham Open Studios Map. I have been designing and altering this map for about 5 years. It is an interesting challenge ever year to get the map correct and have the businesses in the right spots. I feel that drawing the map in illustrator is the way to go and put the text on top of it in Indesign. In Indesign I can move the name of the streets and art spots much easier. Stay tuned for the finished map. Labels: Dedham Open Studios. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A Piece of the Earth.

Monday, April 2, 2012. Rack Card Design, It is all about the Art. I have newly designed to promote art in Dedham Square. We hope to distribute them around town and at local hotels. Art in Dedham has grown and this is a way of letting people know what the town has. The logo is a Peter Reynolds design. The photos are fun and I seem to getting adept at designing maps. Stonehouse | Studio: Snails and Slugs
http://stonehousestudio.blogspot.com/2011/04/snails-and-slugs.html
Thursday, April 14, 2011. What do snails and yucky slugs have to do with polymer, you ask? My city garden fights a losing battle every year to said critters. I don't use pesticides, so I'm constantly on the lookout for natural controls. A few years back, I bought copper tape. Supposedly, it keeps out snails and slugs (something to do with positive/negative electrical charges). I never got around to using it and it's been sitting around ever since.
