Hiking and other stuff. Tuesday, February 26, 2013. January 12, 2013 - Makapu`u Sunrise. With Sommer being pregnant and Hōkūle`a. Being in the NICU for so long, I haven't had much time or energy to go hiking. Sommer and I headed out for an easy "hike" up to the Makapu`u Lighthouse lookout for a beautiful sunrise! Last time I hiked up to Makapu`u Lighthouse. The sunrise was still as beautiful from the lookout. Thanks again to Sommer for coming along with me! Rest of the pictures here. Go Forth, Explorer.

My brother Robert bought a house in Kea`au so my brother, Kai, my father, Scott, and I headed up to the Big Island to help out around his property the first weekend in April. We didn't do much sight seeing, but being so close to Volcano National Park. I was able to check out Halema`uma`u Crater. A couple of nights. Really love this place. Rest of the pics here. It was a beautiful day on the Big Island, with some high clouds and tons of blue sky and sunshine. My rental Jeep handled the unpaved road to the summit perfectly. This time we were attempting to complete Hawaii Loa Ridge. Hawaii Loa is a gated community with million dollar homes as far as the eye can see. Monday, January 2, 2012. BYU vs. Hawaii. TJ very excited that a team from Utah won. Thursday October 29th, the day Kat and I conquered Koko Head. It took us 1hr 3mins to get to the top. It wasn't as bad as we thought it was going to be. We took it nice and slow. It was quite a workout and we both felt accomplished when we reached the top.
