And its in English and Luganda languages that are new to her. But from the conversation i had with her languages that she is grasping quickly. UGANDA THROUGH IMAGES

https://kiconcokay.wordpress.com/2010/11/27/180

Kays journey in Kabale district, south west Uganda. Started 6 weeks ago the health centre has expanded since i was last in Kigazi. Some complications and confusion over the roofing has meant a slight delay but building should commence this week. A year after the vision of a health centre it is nearly complete. Being back in the village after about 5 weeks away was good. The pure joy in peoples faces to see me is so encouraging. This entry was posted on November 27, 2010 by kiconcokay.

Lost in Translation...: Way out West: Part 1 - The first two days

http://andysweet.blogspot.com/2012/06/way-out-west-part-1-first-two-days.html

One man, his wife and his blog, working on funding proposals in Nairobi. Wednesday, June 27, 2012. Way out West: Part 1 - The first two days. Travelling in Kenya is not something that I get to do much. I feel that Nairobi is where I am accustomed to and going out of town brings me out in something of a rash - I become crisis-oriented and think of all the things that could go wrong. When I actually pick up my bag and embark on the trip, I seem to find that it's not so bad after all. To see for yourself.

http://andysweet.blogspot.com/2012/01/code-and-chips.html

One man, his wife and his blog, working on funding proposals in Nairobi. Wednesday, January 18, 2012. French has taken a bit of a back seat in the past three months. After a promising start it's become quite hard to get back from work and down to French in the slot before starting to cook and things like that. Something I have found enjoyable to fit into the cracks has been Codecademy. Im going to get one of those too. They look like fun. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

One man, his wife and his blog, working on funding proposals in Nairobi. Friday, May 10, 2013. One year of university completed . in little over eight months. On Tuesday I finished my university course (bar any need to retake my exam or coursework) and with it comes a lifting of the pressure that builds throughout the semester. It feels quite different from when I completed the first semester, perhaps because this time I know that I don't have to do it all again. What next from all of this? I live in Nai...

One man, his wife and his blog, working on funding proposals in Nairobi. Friday, August 10, 2012. The Thame-ing of the Shoe. Today seems a good point to sit down and write a few lines - I know that we still need to write about our time on Mfangano island but that will require a longer stretch of time. Sunset over Hope Cove. After our holiday we have had some church holiday club, a jolly day out to Olympic rowing at Eton Dorney (in which we even got the opportunity to shout 'courage! The town seems very i...
