The needs are overwhelming in the Dominican Republic trash dump community in Santiago. Basic necessities such as food, water, shelter and clothing are scarce. Children and their families often spend dawn to dusk scavaging in the trash dump to collect any items that may be of value in hopes of being able to afford a meal for the day. 100% of the donations designated for.
