Cow as in moo cow, ra rhyming with huh. How do you pronounce Thargomindah? Thar go min dah dead easy! Do we need a 4 wheel drive to visit Kilcowera? We are 90km south Thargomindah, of which about 60km is unsealed and 90km north of Hungerford all of which is a gravel road. Can I tow my caravan to Kilcowera Station?

Accommodation and camping fees at Kilcowera. 25 per vehicle to explore one day ( max 4 people, $5 per extra persons). 25 per vehicle bush camp @ Lagoon ( max 4 people, $5 per extra persons) with no access to Shearers Quarters bathroom amenities. 30 per vehicle unpowered site at Shearers Quarters ( max 4 people, $5 per extra persons). Kilcowera Station is a large organically run cattle property 1200 kilometres west of Brisbane on the Dowling Track. Our visitors arrive in a variety of conveyances - cars, trucks, motorbikes, planes and helicopters. We have even had a horse and cart turn up! From Hungerford which is on the NSW and QLD border, Kilcowera is roughly 90 kilometres north, on the Thargomindah road. There is only one entrance into Kilcowera our main driveway which enters the property from the west and is thirteen kilometres long.
