I thought I should give a separate entry to two of the most ubiquitous issues the road user faces when traveling through Tanzania, namely the police and Tanzanian traffic. Κυριακή, 20 Νοεμβρίου 2011. Ο καλύτερος μου Μαραθώνιος. Θα περιμένατε να σας πω το τρομερό και φοβερό ατομικό ρεκόρ που έκανα αλλά θα σας απογοητεύσω! Πριν μια βδομάδα τερμάτισα στον επετειακό Κλασικό Μαραθώνιο ( 2501 χρόνια 2 μήνες 3 μέρες και κάτι ώρες από τη μάχη του Μαραθώνα) ο οποίος ήταν ο 8ος μου. Μετά από 7 Μαραθώνιους κατάφερα να τρέξω χωρίς να φάω τοίχο! Και όχι μόνο αυτό αλλά τα τελευταία χιλιόμετρα έριξα το ρυθμό κατά 30-60 δευτερόλεπτα/λεπτό! Θα κάνω χ 20! Τετάρτη, 27 Ιανουαρίου 2010. Θερμίδα, ο εύκολος αντίπαλος. Το σωματικό βάρος είναι ένα θέμα που απασχολεί περισσότερο από ποτέ τον σύγχρονο άνθρωπο. Πως θα πάρει λιγότερες θερμίδες κατά την διάρκεια της ημέρας αλλά και πως θα καταναλώσει όσο το δυνατόν. Πόσες όμως θερμίδες καίμε με το τρέξιμο? Εξαρτάται από πολλούς παράγοντες όπως ο χρόνος η ταχύτητα το βάρος η ηλικία το φύλο το ποσοστό λίπους κλπ κλπ οι πιο σημαντικοί όμως είναι το βάρος η ταχύτητα και ο χρόνος. Αλλά ίσως δεν γνωρίζουμε ότι η αγάπη του γονιού για το παιδί του δεν έχει όρια και μπορεί να ' κερδίσει' τα πάντα, ακόμα και την ανθρώπινη αντοχή. Οι περισσότεροι επίσης γνωρίζουμε ότι ένα αγώνα ironman μπορούν να τερματίσουν λίγοι άνθρωποι στον κόσμο. Τρίτη, 12 Απριλίου 2011. Τρέχοντας στην Αιώνια Πόλη! Η έκθεση του Μαραθωνίου (marathon village) βρίσκεται αρκετά μακριά από το κέντρο αλλά μόλις5-6 στάσεις από τις κεντρικές στάσεις του Μετρό. Επειδ. Ή πήγαμε αργά το Σάββατο υπήρχαν μπλουζάκια μόνο S και XXL, πήρα βέβαια XXL γιατί το S θα το φορούσα για σκουφάκι. Η μπλούζες δυστυχώς ήταν βαμβακερές αλλά μας αποζημίωσε η ASSICS τσάντα πλάτης. Οντας 5 λέπτά πριν. Ο αγώνας ξεκινάει από το γνωστό σε. Όλους Κολοσσέο και τερματίζει στο γνωστό σε όλους Κολσοσέο...
