Views from the North Side of Dallas: Deathly Hallows
http://jchrisp.blogspot.com/2011/07/deathly-hallows.html
Sunday, July 17, 2011. The last movie and final movie is over and it was thoroughly satisfying. The movie enhanced the books. Once again a great story and good acting rise above cinematic gimmicks (I saw the 2D version, more on that later). The child actors have certainly grown, but the surrounding giants allow the film and series to excel. Grand films might just need a break. This is not a new idea at all. Movies such as Ben Hur and Lawrence of Arabia had intermissions. Why? View my complete profile.

Baby Girl’s Nursery. I’m Alive. →. Fin at about 18 months. September 22, 2013. Sometimes I want to tell him to stop growing so fast and to stay exactly like he is. Fin is not walking yet but he is so close! He pointed to my picture a few days ago and said Mom. We have a little photo book that includes all of his family and I ask him to say their names but usually he just gives them kisses. Fin says up very emphatically when he wants up, when he stands up, or when he is being held. Yiaya, Mil, Pops. Sorry...

Tuesday, April 06, 2010. Scott Feldman throws out the first pitch of the 2010 season. Baseball is back, and that is a good thing. I was fortunate enough to attend the 2009 opener. It is hard to top the experience of an opening day game. Several opening day quick hits and then some player analysis. First off kids, I found out that Santa is a Rangers fan.
