The base design is a second design I came up with because I wanted to add a little customization to my mixer. My mixer gets a lot of use on a weekly basis and it’s been with us for a long time and through quite a few moves. I like “her” facelift. April 3, 2013. Why I Can…. April 1, 2013. Where there's always room for one more. Why I Can…. April 1, 2013. So, I pulled out potatoes I had canned from our garden harvest last summer. Last summer’s potatoes. I melted some coconut oil, chopped some fresh green onions, and put in the potatoes with some seasoning to brown. In 20 minutes we had a hot satisfying breakfast and were soon on the road to enjoy our day. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Reflections: April 2011

http://heritageyarns.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html

A place to reflect on life, faith, family, friends and interests that keep me refreshed. Saturday, April 23, 2011. This is the Confederate Jasmine (and California ivy) on our front porch. It's the first time it's bloomed and in the shade; it generally likes sun. it is climbing around the grapevine wreath with no help from me. I look forward to see it fully cover it. Margaret at Heritage Yarns. Eventually, I hope to be more faithful in blogging. Retirement is so busy! King of the Barnyard.

A place to reflect on life, faith, family, friends and interests that keep me refreshed. Sunday, September 4, 2011. Mother Bunny and Bunny Love. Thanks for bearing with me while I transfer files from my former website to blogger. There will be many files that I hope will be helpful to weavers. In addition, here are the latest rug hooking projects I finished and gave to my sister-in-law who loves bunnies. They were designed by Karen Kahle of Primitive Spirit Rugs. And were a lot of fun and fast to hook.

Sandflies, Cyclones and Pumpkin: Camping

http://sandfliescyclonesandpumpkin.blogspot.com/2012/07/camping.html

Sandflies, Cyclones and Pumpkin. Sunday, July 8, 2012. We are now home from our camping trip. Being away from everything is such great time out. There was no mobile phone reception, no electricity, no computers, no running water apart from the river, but there was quiet, the wind, the river, large interesting trees and a crackling fire. Really, what more could you want, I could hear myself and it was lovely to just be. Sunset on the river. We loved our time away, the homesteads are isolated and the cows ...

The Kimber Chronicles | letters to my unborn grandaughter…

Letters to my unborn grandaughter…. August 27, 2010. One of the last material gifts my father-in-law (your great-grandfather) gave to me was an Amazon. For myself, but coveted my husband’s Aunt Joanna’s-she uses hers extensively while traveling for business and pleasure. I was fascinated with the ability to sample chapters of books. You bought them, anywhere, at any time of the day or night. For a bibliophile like myself, it is Nirvana! Life Is a Verb. 37 Days to Wake Up, be Mindful and Live Intentionally.

Kimber's Great Adventure

Thou shalt leave home. Thou shalt get lost. Thou shalt find slander, oppression, opportunity, escape, and destruction. Thou shalt, by definition, find adventure." - Michael Chabon. A Year in Lunch. Wednesday, July 1, 2015. I think too much about trivial things. Like accents in movies. We've all experienced this. You're watching a movie that is set in a country other than the home country of the actors. If the movie is in English, one of three things will happen:. But if they decide to go with accents, th...
