Tuesday, April 20, 2010. I'm not usually one to do quotes, but I thought this photo needed a little something extra. I'm a little confused as to what Henry meant. Does he mean your hair won't gray if you sleep in and/or don't disturb things like dew? Does he mean that you won't live long if you don't get up early? I'm not really sure. What do you think? Sunday, April 25, 2010. I thought this one was cute. I found this rocking chair at a thrift sale on Friday! I'm trying to decided if I should paint it or do something different with it. Ideas? It might seem a simple matter in other climates with a distinct fall frost, but here in the Sonoran Desert the growing seasons are sometimes out of sync with the rest of the U.S. It isn’t always obvious when to plant or harvest a given plant. Are vines that produce large, edible tuberous roots. And tagged Ipomoea batatas.

Take for example our luffas. This is the first time we had grown them. We were surprised by the big, bright yellow flowers with the faintly ruffled edges. Monday, April 19, 2010. I have few tulips this year. They just started blooming. Some years they bloom and other years the rabbits eat them before they have a chance. I took these with color in mind and then tried two different conversions from Pioneerwoman. Just to see how they would look. Which one is your favorite? I like the 3rd one the best.
