Patea Library and Museum of South Taranaki. January 15, 2014 · 10:13 am. We didn’t visit a library or a museum in Whanganui. We stopped off at Virgina Lake for a picnic lunch, and basically visited an outdoor art gallery! After lunch we had a look around the Wintergarden and admired the flowers, plants and displays.
