KC Kids: Happy Accident
http://kckiddos.blogspot.com/2009/10/happy-accident.html
Friday, October 9, 2009. I was trying to convert a picture to black and white and accidentally did this instead. Usually my mistakes don't turn out this cool :) First is a portrait of my sweeties on Lauryn's birthday. The next two are pictures I took for a friend in exchange for some most amazing haircuts :). So, how did you do that. So cool! October 10, 2009 at 7:43 AM. I just want to squeeze them. Will you do me a favor and give them a squeeze from me. October 10, 2009 at 11:53 AM.

Sunday, October 26, 2008. A Beehive to make mom proud :). This post is a little self-indulgent-I admit. But I had so much fun dressing up for our Church Halloween party that I had to post a few pictures. I wore the dress my Grandma made and wore to my mom and dad's wedding in 1973. I also had her glasses, total coke bottles (sorry, grandma). Then after watching some tutorials on youtube-I did my hair in a beehive. I'll see if I can get a copy of it. :). I'm wearing heels and its still dragging the floor!

Life goes on. in Portland, Oregon. Thursday, June 26, 2008. For example, with my parents, I slowly laid the groundwork. "Portland's really cool" and "I really like Portland" became common statements in conversations with them. I finally decided to just come out with it. It was a Thursday night. The conversation went something like this:. Diane: "Mom, I'm actually going to move to Portland.". Diane: "Yeah, aren't you excited for me? Mom: "Yeah, but I'm watching Grey's Anatomy right now.". There have been ...

Life goes on. in Portland, Oregon. Wednesday, October 29, 2008. Little People, Big Pumpkins. Now, I honestly can’t remember the last time I was at a pumpkin patch, but a midget pumpkin patch? While waiting, we saw license plates from as far away as Montana and Texas. Seriously? To see all the pumpkin patch pictures. Sunday, October 26, 2008. Politics and KU Basketball. Religion, politics and money? Hence, me watching the debates in the comfort of my own home. I decided, however, for the last presidential...

Thursday, November 12, 2009. Well, I think our days of cute little halloween costumes may be officially over. (Well, of course, there's still Elise :) But my big kids have definite ideas about their costumes. We had a great time making these and getting ready to go to the various trunk or treats and to our traditional halloween party at Nat's. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Klein Academy Press.

O-Blog-Di, O-Blog-Da: A Portland Brawl
http://o-blog-di-o-blog-da-diane.blogspot.com/2008/10/portland-brawl.html
Life goes on. in Portland, Oregon. Wednesday, October 8, 2008. I wouldn’t normally think a bar fight would be worthy blog material, but that was before I experienced my first Portland brawl. But this bar brawl on Friday night at Portland’s Sassy Jack’s takes the cake for my favorite fight ever. This brawl was done in true Portland fashion. And to make the situation even more entertaining, while the boys were brawling, a man was singing karaoke. He didn’t stop or miss a single beat. Memoirs of a Nomad.

Sunday, April 26, 2009. For some reason my new post about spring projects won't show up unless I make another post after it. Why? I do not know, but whatever works! A Spring full of Projects. We have had a busy project filled March and April. This post is in reverse chronological order. Or maybe that would be like retrological order, hmm? I bought this pillow to use as inspiration for the kids to do some paintings for the basement. Here are my little Monet, Rembrandt and Picasso. Lauryn made the earth an...
