Sunday, November 22, 2009. Greg got home the second evening and bought a large shop vac that was able to keep up with the leak and quickly pump the water out of the house. Still, that setup had to be left running non-stop for another 72 hours until the water finally stopped coming in (for now). More rain is forecast for next week. Posted by Kitty and Greg. Tuesday, April 27, 2010. And Levi makes 7! And 3rd grandson, Levi Alexander, was born to Kim and Doug yesterday morning. The Lord's blessings just to continue to be poured out on our kids and our whole family! Levi's already a big, strong boy - and everyone is doing just fine. Kitty was there to watch the other three kids, and Greg got in a brief visit to KC to see Levi and the rest of his family. Now we can't wait to get back there and spend more time with all of them! Friday, December 25, 2009. For the first time in 35 Christmases together, we spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day on our own. It wasn't what we had planned - certainly we missed being with family in Michigan -. At one point we drove 36 miles in 1 hour and 45 minutes! Only by God's grace did we arrive at a beach opposite the launch pad with only 2 minutes to spare before lift off.
