The staff consists of 5 permanent full time employees, 2 part time temporary employees and over 175 volunteer members. BACK TO SCHOOL PROJECT (August). DIGITAL ACCESS CAMPAIGN (Ongoing). PHASE I - FREE INTERNET SERVICE. With the contribution of corporate partners such as Amscot Financial and the Imaginate Foundation, Phase I started in January providing children with free Comcast internet service for one full year. The selection process was done in conjunction with Dade County Public Schools and is currently ongoing. PHASE II - AFTER SCHOOL ENRICHMENT and TECHNOLOGY CENTERÂ Â. Through annual youth programs, the Club becomes mentors to inner city children who are less fortunate and have financial burden. Corporate donations enable the Club to underwrite the costs of the increasing number of new participants for future programs and to continue the tireless effort of impacting the lives of Hispanic and African American kids in the Miami community in the areas of EDUCATION, HEALTH, COMMUNITY GOODWILL. HEALTHY KIDS SPORTS PROGRAM. Fundraising and Promotional Activities. The Club's largest fundraising project, CARNAVAL MIAMI. Is funded by corporate sponsors and the revenue generated from the various events are used to provide the community with our annual youth-oriented programs. CALLE OCHO, the marquee event of Carnaval Miami, was held for the first time on March 12, 1978.

An Annual CHRISTMAS FAIR at Jose Marti Park invites thousands of children from the local community centers to a day full of activities, games, food, gifts and a surprise visit from Santa on a fire truck. Some of the invited centers include Children’s Cancer Center, Refugee Services Program, UM Debbie School, Good Shepherd, Thena Crowder Elementary School and more! A TOY FOR EVERY CHILD PROJECT.
