Thursday, February 10, 2011. New painting, new subject. So here's my latest piece. 12" x 24" "Spanish Revellers". It's been ages since I have worked with the human form. I'm amazed at how quickly it all came back! What a joy to work with these bright yellows and reds. they are tones that rarely show in the landscapes and seascapes that I usually do. It just goes to show that partying has long been a favorite pastime in Spain! Just one of the many things we loved about it.). New painting, new subject.
