Thursday, August 23, 2012. Last week Taryn started her ballet/tap dancing classes. Mommy was a little shocked at the cost that quickly piled up. We had ballet shoes, tap shoes, leotard and tights, class fees and registration fees to pay for. Not to mention another fee for costumes coming down the pipe for the Christmas production. Wednesday, July 25, 2012. Cole He's Still a He. On Monday, (Lee's birthday), I got to have a marathon doctor's appointment. I was going to have the gestational diabetes screening, an ultrasound and a general appointment with the doc. The purpose of the ultrasound was to see if I would need a c-section due to the baby's placenta location. Side story: After the ultrasound. Tuesday, December 18, 2012. Mr Cole is 2 Months Old! I am so sad to think that this is my last few weeks home with my little man. My real "maternity leave" is over this Friday. After that, I just have our normal Christmas break and it is back to the grind on January 3rd. I did ask the doc about it and he said it is fine. I hope it sticks around! Stats: Weight - 13 lbs 7 oz. Wednesday, January 30, 2013. I can write my name! At Taryn's preschool, they dot the students name and then the kids trace over it. At home, I pushed Taryn a little more, writing her name and then having her write it below. No dots. The other day, while playing with her whiteboard, she told me she could do it herself. Sunday, July 21, 2013. Whoever created these Sticky Belly things should have really made the 8-12 month ones WAY stickier. Like hard core Velcro or something? Needless to say, Cole WOULD NOT leave his sticker on his belly. So, I tried putting it behind him on the chair, on my hand, etc. You couldn't keep him away from that thing! Cole just went on his 2nd trip. Both of his trips have been to Tennessee. Apparently that is our favorite destination! He also discovered that pools make him poop. Awesome.
