Tri Mommy: Goals
http://trimommy.blogspot.com/2005/02/goals.html
Sunday, February 27, 2005. I never used to have a problem registering for races. I once had a race director come up to me at a triathlon in New Jersey and ask me why. Yeah Race day registration isn't an option for tris out here - they fill up so fast. So I'm still planning to do a lot of swimming and cycling, but I'm changing my goals to running races. To spur me on in my training, my husband. Posted by Brynne @ 8:04 PM. Man, I am soo jealous! I've been hearing about the Title 9 mother's day race for a f...

Black Toes: Pretty toes, pretty black toes, pretty toes to eat = porn?
http://bugdozer.blogspot.com/2005/03/pretty-toes-pretty-black-toes-pretty.html
Trail running, running, and hiking in Colorado's Front Range. Wednesday, March 09, 2005. Pretty toes, pretty black toes, pretty toes to eat = porn? I took a look at the referals to this blog. I had high hopes that most of my links were due to. A) The St. Blogs parish (a grouping of Catholic blogs). B) other running blogs in the RBF. Wrong Apparently, it seems that many of my hits are due to people looking for pretty toes, pretty black toes, or pretty toes to eat. Posted by bugdozer @ 9:50 PM. My site is ...

Black Toes: A question to the RBF about treadmills
http://bugdozer.blogspot.com/2005/03/question-to-rbf-about-treadmills.html
Trail running, running, and hiking in Colorado's Front Range. Tuesday, March 15, 2005. A question to the RBF about treadmills. Recently my wife informed me that she wanted to get me a treadmill when I got a real job (not being a grad student! Since they're not cheap, I figure I should start researching them now. I've been looking at many of the websites and reading some stuff in Consumer Reports, but I know some of you in the RBF have treadmills and I was wondering if you had any advice? Well, I'm absolu...

Black Toes: bottles & buses
http://bugdozer.blogspot.com/2005/03/bottles-buses.html
Trail running, running, and hiking in Colorado's Front Range. Wednesday, March 09, 2005. Has anyone else tried out the new Ultimate Directions Fastdraw? I really like it, and it doesn't leak like the older ones did. Plus, you can close it by bending the little nubbin with you lips and it closes back up, and it just looks plain nifty. And for you viewing pleasure, here's a picture of a repair truck from a bicycle repair shop in Denver - I like the Yellow Submarine theme:. Posted by bugdozer @ 2:08 PM.

Tri Mommy: Real running vs. fake running
http://trimommy.blogspot.com/2005/03/real-running-vs-fake-running.html
Thursday, March 17, 2005. Real running vs. fake running. I ran outside, on (little) hills, in the wind, pushing John's stroller. Ouch. This was much harder than running on the flat track inside the warm rec center. I guess I should get used to it until they start doing indoor races, huh? Run: 30 minutes with 8 minutes running. Posted by Brynne @ 6:50 AM. That is good. Thanks for sharing it! More power to you and have a happy run always! Thats good for you. Good luck! For real this time.

Tri Mommy: An excuse and a recovery
http://trimommy.blogspot.com/2005/02/excuse-and-recovery.html
Thursday, February 24, 2005. An excuse and a recovery. I somehow managed to stab myself with a knitting needle. Really. It's over at my knit blog. I was planning to ride my trainer this morning, but that workout is just plain getting skipped. Instead I did the first swim workout called for in my plan, a whole 200 yards. But I'm a really bad swimmer and I did my 200 yards at about 2:30/100 yard pace. There's always room for improvement, right? Workout: Swim 200 yards. Time: 8:03 w/ rests.
