http://knitatnite.blogspot.com/2006/12/mmmitchells.html

No knitting done. None. Nada. Ingenting. Picture taking ditto. 1 Hanging out at the FC where no daylight puts you in the cocoon where you will never ever see the sunset. Loads of fun. Awesome crew. 2 Went to the pub. O'Shaughnessy's. 3 Window shopping at the Easton mall. Absolutely gorgeous. I just wish there had been snow! Horse and carriage rides. (We had the worst possible service at PF Changs. Hello, My Name is Doorstop.). Posted by lill4my @ 20:58. Why, you ask? Day Two in OH.

My grandparents were teenagers during WWII. They lived through the war on ration cards, but never really talked about how tough it was. Because in other parts of the world people were killed and tortured. They just starved. And complaining was really not in their vocabulary. Picture taken on June 20th, 1942 in Str. S, Sweden. He was 22.]. The most shameful of all were the German trains. My grandpa told me about watching the. I'm going to knit my bit, for someone else, who needs it alot more than I do.

Digging out the Arlo-hair covered yarns that are mostly on my mind. Allhemp 3. Can't decide what to make with it, something sturdy. I love hemp. Made a. Cute little evening clutch. In hemp from Artfibers a few months ago. There are some very nice housy patterns in Mason-Dixon that are on my mind. Manos, Cotton. How can you not love this yarn. It was supposed to be for a nautie, but we'll see. I just like to pet it. Pet. Pet. Pet. Posted by lill4my @ 16:43. Yarnaholic (just like the t-shirt says). It's so...

Mindless knitting has taken place, particularly in the form of the Mason Dixon Ballband Dishcloths. Seven of them. I have a few more to go before I can go to Sweden. They're itty bitty presents for the family. The Four-Oh Sweater has gone through all the planning stages. It's in reverse stockinette for most of it. The pattern repeats all the way up one side on the front and back in mirrored images of each other. Used sz4 needles for the ribbing, and sz5 for the rest. Measured the S.O. It's alittle shiny,...

January 16, 2008 12:53 PM. Not much knitted. The mind is busy with work stuff, as are the hands. By the end of the day, they just kinda turn off. Perhaps what I need is a nice plain sock with a lovely yarn to entice me, but that doesn't sound interesting. How do you balance finding something just interesting enough but able to do while dead tired/asleep? Or just piling some yarn on my bed while I sleep enough to comfort the Knitter in me for a while. For those about to Travel. December 18, 2007 4:03 PM.

Fiber Fiend

Sat 23 Mar 2013. March 23rd, 2013. I know it’s been ages since I’ve posted. I am still knitting (and spinning, even a little weaving). I haven’t been the best about taking pictures, but I try to keep Ravelry. Updated. In other news, I wrote a novel! I just finished editing the Epilogue of my first novel to post to my beta readers. Now comes the scary part searching for an agent and publisher. I started a new blog over at margitsage.com. Sat 12 Feb 2011. February 12th, 2011. Stitches West is coming up in ...

Idee

In kleinen Schritten viel bewegen.

Knit at Knite with a Knitting Mom

Knit at Knite with a Knitting Mom. Just a New England Knitting Mom who knits at night. I also knit at lunch, waiting for appointments, as a passenger in a car, weekend mornings, etc. Monday, May 28, 2007. Wow, long time no post! I've been busy with Jury Duty this past month and haven't really been doing much else. I did make these though. I edited a pattern from Lisa Loyd. Had to make quite a few changes to get the sock to look a bit neater, but I think they came out great! Thursday, April 26, 2007.

Knit@Night

Sunday, January 9, 2011. Above is the cloche I knit for my friend Maria. This is my first go at felting and I will definitely do more. I designed this shawl for my mother to take along on her trip to Hawaii. This shetland lace shawl is based on the flowers which populate her garden. I used Malabrigo lace to make this piece. This final project is for me. The pattern, Easy Seas by Knit/lab. And was intended to be knit with a sport weight yarn. I, however, used a lace weight by Sweet Georgia Yarns. I also m...
