Asiala Archives: November 2010
http://theasialafamily.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 11, 2010. Nothing like a little trip down memory lane. Almost 2 years old. I know it's cliche - but, time does really fly by. It seems like just yesterday we were trying to figure out what every little squeak, squeal, and cry meant. Today, we are blessed to know this sweet, adventurous little man. We can't imagine a day without him. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I've been the wife of Alan for 9.5 years and the mom of Thomas for 5. View my complete profile. Sias, Sias and Sias.

Asiala Archives: September 2011
http://theasialafamily.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 28, 2011. Monday, September 26, 2011. I can't think of a better way to spend Saturday mornings. I take my coffee along, chat with friends, and get to watch my big boy play soccer. Beth and I spend a great deal of time chasing after Brett at the games. He really just wants to be a big boy, too. We frequently have to pull him off the field. Go, Thomas, go! Aren't they so sweet in their little uniforms? Monday, September 19, 2011. I loved this book! The movie. To see or not to see?

Asiala Archives: October 2010
http://theasialafamily.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Saturday, October 30, 2010. We trick-or-treated with the Ayotte's again this year. The boys had a good time walking all over town in search of treats. Thomas is still very afraid of masks and would not go and get candy from people wearing them. Maybe next year? Thursday, October 28, 2010. Thomas and I carved our pumpkins tonight. He was really into it this year. It was a lot of fun for both of us. I assisted with drawing the face a little and he carved it all by himself. Friday, October 22, 2010. Another...

http://theasialafamily.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 27, 2011. Springtime makes me ambitious. I clean, workout, and do laundry like crazy. Yep, even crazier than normal. This weekend it seems as though I've had a double dose. First, The sunlight streaming through our windows has been uncovering all the winter dust I neglected. Second, we are leaving for vacation. I love leaving a clean house so that I can return to a clean house. Pretty good for a 4 year old. We turned around at the covered wooden bridge over the Black River. Currently, he's ...

Wednesday, November 2, 2011. I had an interesting conversation with T's teacher this morning. She reported Thomas telling her he was very tired yesterday. This isn't too surprising because it was, afterall, the day after Halloween. His reasoning is what is so random. He told her, "I didn't get much sleep last night because my dad was up all night smoking cigars." Really? It's a good thing we don't believe half of what kids tell us at school! Saturday, October 29, 2011. Dressing up is - well, it's just fun. Kids (and parents) put a lot of thought into dressing up at Halloween. What to buy, make, pull together that speaks to your childs personality at that point in this year. It's often a production. Here are scared Tiger, Flight Commander, and Worker Guy. Mad Tiger, Flight Commander, and Worker Guy. Happy Tiger, Flight Commander and Worker Guy. Do kids have all the fun? Hee, hee. They are pink. Saturday, October 15, 2011. Leaves are fun. ...

Wednesday, December 29, 2010. Alan LOVES ice fishing and has fished almost every day of our break. He convinced me to tag along today by deeming it "family bonding time." So, I got a few lessons in fishing. Some from Alan. Some from Thomas. Step 1: Use the ice auger to make some holes. (I found out first hand that this is not as easy as it looks). Step 2: Scoop the slush out of the hole. This is Tommy's job. He scoops everyones slush and scoops it often. Step 4: When patience pays off, pull up your line.
