The Knitting Corner: FO: Christmas Dragon

http://knitcorner.blogspot.com/2016/12/fo-christmas-dragon.html

My personal projects, yarn reviews, and yarn shopping in the Midwest. Other random topics sprinkled throughout. Monday, December 19, 2016. I finished the baby gift for my coworker on Saturday night. I'm not overly satisfied with how much stuffing you can see through the stitches in the head but overall, I think he turned out alright. I had a lot of festive props to pose him with at work! Have a Merry Christmas everyone! Tarragon the Gentle Dragon. Knit toys Tarragon the Gentle Dragon.

The Knitting Corner: Yarn Review Monday

http://knitcorner.blogspot.com/p/im-going-to-start-yarn-review-here.html

My personal projects, yarn reviews, and yarn shopping in the Midwest. Other random topics sprinkled throughout. I started a yarn review because of a conversation I overheard at a yarn shop. I was at my LYS, and the only other customer there was discussing yarn with the shop owner, and being very snooty about fiber content, brands, etc. I honestly believe there are good things and bad things about every. Type of yarn, no matter how much you save or how much you break the bank. Berroco Vintage (TM) Chunky.

My personal projects, yarn reviews, and yarn shopping in the Midwest. Other random topics sprinkled throughout. Tuesday, August 30, 2016. I'm pretty excited you guys! I'm almost finished with my Adams Ribs sweater! I'm pretty sure this is the last skein of the project. Then I'll just have to weave ends and sew the sleeves together. I'm still reading Holes to my oldest, and A Tale of Two Cities to myself. Ha. Pretty sure I started that book over a year ago. Adams Ribs Wrap yarn along. Links to this post.

http://noidlehands.justinhall.us/triple-pebble-shawlette

By chloe • Knitting. Bull; 10 Aug 2014. Despite started late, the Pebble Beach Shawlette. I’m very happy with the yarn (BFL with donegal nepps) and pattern match. With added tea coloured glass beads, I have a “triple pebbles” effect – the yarn overs, the nepps in the yarn and beads! The shawl lives up to its name. 8211; repeated row 65-72 two more times to increase size. this makes a total of 20 rows of the original eyelets. 8211; added beads to row 91 and 93 on either side of the first purl ridge row.

A blog about crafting, cooking and community. January – not for resolutions. January 27, 2015. January 27, 2015. The post holiday season has been a quiet time around Knit Country. There is lots of activity, but it feels routine, stable, and not as rushed as October – December felt. This is something I am grateful for. My little knitting journal. Monday, February 20, 2006. For my birthday, my husband bought me a copy of Weekend Knitting.
