The Ribby Cardi was one of the very first sweaters I ever knitted and completed in February, 2005. To help me with the process, I joined the Ribby Cardi KAL and found the KAL both helpful and supportive in my process of finishing this sweater. The yarn I chose for this project was the Highland Peruvian Wool in mid-indigo blue and rosewood from Elann.com. The writer of the pattern, also has a Ribby gallery which I was posted to! On February 16, 2009. And we have a contest winner everyone! We didn’t have anyone land on the exact number but only one skein off was Uli. With a guess of 376. The actual number on that table is 375 skeins. I won’t be able to show the colour yet as these yarns will soon be winging their way into the arms of many knitters. Sunday, January 28, 2007. Yarn: 12 KP Andean Silk in Chocolate. Needles: Addi Circulars in US #6, 7 (8 for bind off). I finally got the courage to sew on the buttons last Thursday evening. Yes, it took me almost a month to get the courage to sew buttons on this. I'm still not sure on the placement though. It still needs a good blocking but that will come later.
