Knit One Drop Two. The joys of knitting (or otherwise). Wednesday, November 08, 2006. FO: Tubey from Knitty Winter 05. Here is my completed Tubey. From Knitty's Winter 05 issue. This was finished in early summer, but with autumn now here I have already worn it a fair few times and love it. I knit this in DK weight, Sirdar Country Style (Highlands and Islands), and had to redo all the gauge calculations. Some modifications were also worked:. Yes, I have to agree on the neckline too. Some day I may att...

Knit One Drop Two. The joys of knitting (or otherwise). Monday, April 09, 2007. The picture above shows the work in progress. The body was knit in one piece, then split into three sections - front left and front left sleeve, back and back sleeves, and right front and right front sleeve. This is the order I worked around the sweater. I decided to free up some needles and sew the first shoulder seam there and then, rather than at the end. The secret to invisible grafting is simple: 'knit, purl - purl, ...

Two Sticks and Yarn: December 2008
http://twistedthreads.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Two Sticks and Yarn. What happens when you teach an adjunct to knit. The Brit's flat is right on the Amstel river and today, the fog is so thick and deep that the only way I know life exists past 15 meters is thanks to the occasional car headlights zipping along the street that runs parallel across the river. Yesterday, I hated Amsterdam. I was frustrated by the entire procedure of it all and the foreign-ness. Today I'm much better with it. Posted by Adjunct Slave. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Two Sticks and Yarn. What happens when you teach an adjunct to knit. Today's adventures in eating. I finally cooked something new tonight. I make Cooking Light's Red Lentil Soup. I didn't divert from the recipe too much. It's more of a blended stew. I blended the whole thing twice. Once when called for, the second time when the onions and garlic was added. Two Sticks and Yarn: Project Polyamory

Two Sticks and Yarn. What happens when you teach an adjunct to knit. I started my own interpretation of Birch before the holidays. Have I finished her yet? Of course not. You see, I made a Knit Picks order, and that had the yarn for my Henley Perfected, and as soon as the yarn arrived, I had to cast on for that. But, between that, I decided to start on a pair of socks in Austermann Step using the Waving Lace pattern from Interweave's Favorite Socks book. But wait, I still have those Endpaper Mitts on the...

Two Sticks and Yarn. What happens when you teach an adjunct to knit. First off, long time no post. I'm a bad bad knitter. But. I have something for you to look at! Behold my progress on Rogue. I've finished the body and gotten the shoulder seams stitched up. Now all that's left is the hood and the sleeves. There are some issues, but I'm hoping they get sorted out with the blocking.
