Monday, September 20, 2010. August was full of unexpected events. One day I was headed to a doctor's appt. with the kids in the backseat when suddenly several cars in front of me slammed on their brakes. I slammed on brakes as quickly as I could but still collided. With the car in front of me. It was one of the most scary moments of my life. Our collission bent the rear bumper of that car. Our little Ford Focus, however, took one for the team. So, Oh well, I think I'll just smash. Into the back of it!

Tuesday, February 2, 2010. Finally- Time to Catch-up! These past few months have flown by. So quickly that I can hardly believe that I only have 5 weeks. Friday, August 20, 2010. Still more catching up to do. These are a few more family happenings from this year. I'll pick up where I left off after the last blog post. These pics are from late April and were taken after Carter's first Sunday at church. He is SUCH. We could not have asked for better! Aubrey cried ALL of the time as a baby and so we braced ourselves for the same experience with Carter but we have been so lucky. He is so easy going- just like his Daddy! He is happy pretty. Friday, April 3, 2009. So I’ve been practicing my cake making skills lately and I concocted this beautiful masterpiece in honor of Rachel and Joey’s birthdays. It’s a four-layer checkered red velvet cake. Ok- So it’s pretty far from a masterpiece but it’s pretty impressive compared to Aubrey’s 1st birthday cake. Yikes! This one took me ALL day to finish- mostly because I kept running out of red food coloring and powered sugar. I went to the store 4 times that day! Am I dedicated or what?
