This is a really long skinny scarf, and if u knit it with the yarn i used, which is called esprit, its also uber soft and only takes one ball of yarn. 1 cast on 8 stitches. you can cast on more or less depending on the thickness of your yarn. the scarf should be about 2 inches wide. 2knit in garter stitch until the scarf is as long as u want it, then bind off and weave in the ends. This is a cool case for your cell phone. i made it with "Super soft 3"(the brand is "lana moro".i don't even know if they make that kind of yarn anymore because the ball i used was from a long time ago.but you can use any sport weight yarn.just check the gauge). you double the yarn, using two strands as if they were one. Gauge:5 stitches per inch on size 11 needles in garter stitch. 1with size 11 needles, cast on 10 stitches. 3reduce 1 stitch on each edge.
