A little blog for a beginner knitter! Sunday, 2 September 2007. Those poor poor socks. I don't mean to neglect them! Is claiming that the last dishcloth is STILL too good to use so I have started knitting one in simple garter stitch - now she will HAVE to use it! A little blog for a beginner knitter! Friday, 4 May 2007. Back to the Beginning. Due to having a dropped stitch in Annie's hat that I couldnt work out how to fix I have had to rip it back to the beginning! I was about three quarters of the way done! On the bright side, this time I am going to use a smaller needle as the 6mm just makes it too loose with the lower than recommended ply that I have. Oh well it is all a learning experience. Sometime in April I think it was when in one of the forums I frequent a knitalong was started for a Wingspan and here you see the first of my Wingspans, I fell so in love with this pattern that I am already knitting my second, they are done in plain garterstitch, which allows me to read while I knit them. ;).
