Knit of Awesome: March 2015
http://knitofawesome.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 20, 2015. We bought a motorcycle. Maybe I'm being naïve, but we are not reckless people. We have calculated our level of crazy, and found it acceptable. Links to this post. Wednesday, March 11, 2015. The Locke in RMNP. Fantastic hike and a beautiful day. Things we have learned: summer trail maps in the winter = useless, frozen waterfalls coveted in snow look like hills, and it's difficult to jump in snowshoes. Good times had by all. Knit of Awesome: February 2015
http://knitofawesome.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 23, 2015. Just got back from an amazing experience. There was a train ride and cows and elephants and forts and palaces and jeep rides in the dessert and riding camels and a truly incredible wedding. More pictures to come, but for now I'll leave you with this picture of me geeking out in a spice shop. In India. Wow. Links to this post. Friday, February 6, 2015. To get stitches. But she is on the mend, and look and her pretty purple foot with the pink heart! Links to this post.

hedoknitstic: May 2007
http://hedoknitstic.blogspot.com/2007_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 12, 2007. Close-up of the stripeyness:. Close up of fringe:. It turned out wonderfully! I absolutely love it! And I'm sooooo glad it's off my poor needles. I forgot to take a picture of those, but I will post one soon.they are anything but straight needles anymore. So, the scarf turned out to be somewhere between ten and eleven feet long, which is awesome! And the yarn is stretchy and fun. It's a little too warm now to be wearing any kind of scarf, but it'll be perfect for autumn. I will be...

hedoknitstic: March 2007

Monday, March 5, 2007. I'm happy to report that the washing machine did NOT eat my little sister's sweater! Nothing changed, except it smelled a little better. And now it's on its way, bundled up in a pretty little package. And because no post is really complete without a picture, here is the first sock I ever made, modeled by its recipient, my other little sister:. Sunday, March 4, 2007. On pins and needles. It was fun and quick and the grafting seam is perfectly disguised. And here's the next one:.

hedoknitstic: July 2007
http://hedoknitstic.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 28, 2007. I’ve seen this meme on a handful of blogs and decided that it’d be fun to do. Perhaps it's another way to stall my readers from noticing the lack of afghan pictures. For stuff I've done/am doing. For stuff I plan to do someday. Normal for stuff I'm not planning on doing. 8211; oh man, so close to finishing this one! You make i-cords and felt them, they make excellent faux-dreadlocks. Knitting with metal wire. Though I hear it's hard on the hands. Waaay better than top-down. Knitt...

hedoknitstic: Lover's Mitten
http://hedoknitstic.blogspot.com/2007/12/lovers-mitten.html
Monday, December 10, 2007. Sorry in advance for the poor quality of some of these pictures, but yeah, no natural light. Here is a normal mitten:. Here is a Lover's Mitten. Kinda like conjoined mitten twins. The point is that you can hold hands with someone inside the mitten and your hands won't get cold. I made a few changes to the Lover's Mitten pattern in the link above, but mostly just for sizing. And I made a matching set of mittens, so the lovebirds can keep their outside hands warm as well.

hedoknitstic: June 2007
http://hedoknitstic.blogspot.com/2007_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 11, 2007. Hello all you readers out there. Yes, I know that you exist. .at least I think you do, but I wouldn't know since no one ever leaves me any comments. boohoo. That being said, I'll keep whining until I have your comments coming out of my ears. One other thing to note: this afghan is going to take me approximately 1,000,000 years to make. The mystery item was a pair of slippers! They were a long overdue present for Kaydo. Everyone needs a pair of bright pink slippers, right! This big ...

http://hedoknitstic.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 2, 2008. Well, looks like I did disappear after all. hmmm. Alas. I'll see what I can do from here on out. No promises this time though. I have been doing a fair bit of knitting, but I've just been lazy about taking pictures. I'll dig around and see what I can find. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Denver, Colorado, United States.
