Self Taught Artists: The story of Clyde Jones
http://cfsselftaughtartists.blogspot.com/2011/05/story-of-clyde-jones.html
This blog follows our Exploratorium as we meet artists in our area and explore making art of our own. Monday, May 23, 2011. The story of Clyde Jones. Clyde Jones thinks art is going to the woods and translating it. He was a fisher man when he was fishing he realized that he did not want to kill fish. Then later on in his life he was cutting a log and the shape looked like an animal and he made it into an animal. So no he loves animals now and he keeps making them. Self Taught Artists: Clyde Jones
http://cfsselftaughtartists.blogspot.com/2011/05/clyde-jones_23.html
This blog follows our Exploratorium as we meet artists in our area and explore making art of our own. Monday, May 23, 2011. Today we visited Clyde Jones, who lives in Bynum, North Carolina. He used to be a Lumberjack, but one day he saw a piece of wood that looked like an animal, and so he turned it into one. Since then he has made many wooden animals. They tend to be made of Cedar, with random metal pieces, and paint, they also sometimes have glitter. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). NC museum of art.
