KFT directors are elected by the community members of KFT. . Current directors are. Jim, Fred, Fiona, Roger and Dave. The board meet every 2 months. The population of Knoydart is around 100. At the time of the community buyout only 60 people lived here. Inverie is home to the majority of folk and there are settlements around the coast. KFT employ 3 workers - Grant, Ian, and Lorna. Through the Foundation the community own and manage 17,200 acres of the Knoydart peninsula.
