NoR & SI. Here you find the last information about the Eastern Hemisphere Championships in Muiden from August 25-30, 2015. The event is hosted by the Royal Netherlands Yacht Club and organized by the Dutch Star Fleets. We will sail on the Southern part of the IJssellake. This is only 10 kilometers from Amsterdam and more secluded than Medemblik but still open and fresh water. She is member of honor of the yacht club that hosts our event. This included the obvious polishing of the outside of the hull. She was pretty dirty but because I do this regularly the black rainstripes and other dirt came off easy enough. Dannick On-line Nautical Blog. Saturday, April 26, 2008. Two weeks ago Dannick was refloated and set back into her bearth in Muiden. While she was on dryland I polished the heck out of her so you need to wear sunglasses as not to be blinded by her shiny topsides. I have mouted all her sails and have made everything in order for the first real trip of the season.
