There wasn't much action in town so we had to hunt for waves in the more "rural" areas. Joel Tudor on a quick exit. Sent a lot of swell our way the weekend before, which lead to a lot of surfers reaching their limit of how many days they could surf in a row. Marie for all of her hype, in my opinion, and at least in San Diego, wasn't as good as the Tropical Storm "Lowell". It was a long time coming.

Today we made the Griddle Cakes. First, we measured the dry ingredients into the plastic bowl and stirred them all together. 1 Cup of Flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 2 teaspoons white sugar, 2 teaspoons baking powder.
