Then a little over a month ago, I was reading on a Facebook group for type 1 diabetics that i'm a part of and I learned about a woman named KC Owens of Tattle Tail Scent Dogs. She breeds dogs to be diabetic alert dogs. The difference with her is that she starts the scent training the day the puppies are born! The puppy we are getting is currently 4 1/2 weeks old. Our daily wanderings and babblings. Sunday, July 8, 2012. Yesterday was the annual Larson Cup Triathlon. I was so nervous! I had so many expectations of myself, and I was really hoping to impress my family with how much I had improved, so I was really hoping I wouldn't disappoint myself! It was such a fun event. My friend TR Brooks and his wife Ari and a couple of their friends joined us. It was really fun to catch up, and they thought it was such a great event. I didn't sleep great, too many nerves!
