Month of my 2. I’ve been to a couple of chair yoga classes with Mom and my body feels to...

My main frustration is that the HIPtB (Health Insurance Powers-that-Be), decided to reject paying for my chest CT, because they consulted with some doctor who has never seen me. Nor consulted with my oncologist – but. Decided it was unnecessary! We’d gotten the pre-certification authorization from them in advance! About 10 days after seeing my s...

Looking Through Another's Eyes. Life in Papua New Guinea. Saturday, July 25, 2009. While eating lunch with my family at a bustling meat-n-three in town, a man commented on the hand woven baskets I had brought home as gifts. My Aunt Julie explained the baskets were from a village along the Sepik River in Papua New Guinea. Nevertheless, this man was certain the baskets were American Indian artifacts because he had seen them while watching an episode of Chuck Norris. Family, friends and key lime pie…t...

Looking Through Another's Eyes. Life in Papua New Guinea. Monday, November 30, 2009. A Buzz in the Air. For nearly 40 minutes my mouth hung open in awe. I didn’t know whether to hold on to my seat or jump from the window with the over whelming since of vertigo. Either way, my recent helicopter ride from the mountainous terrains of the PNG Highlands, through the vast Ramu Valley and rivers to Madang’s pristine coastline, was incredible. Where was the airport in relation to the town? Is it a safe area?

Kowloon is a shoppers paradise. From shopping centers boasting names such as...
