Blogs I love to read. Dani and Dave, Meredith and Adeline. Tell me when this blog is updated. Ella had an exciting month. She learned to ride a bike. And, she grew her first adult tooth. We'll refrain from the over-exposed mouth shot. But note that sadly, this event was not preceded by first losing a baby tooth. It seems that there are orthodontics in her future.). Blogs I love to read. Dani and Dave, Meredith and Adeline. Tell me when this blog is updated. First Week of (Home) School! Monday morning, Tima was feverish, vomiting and complaining that his feet 'didn't work right'. Not a great beginning. I was so thankful to not have to deal with the big problem of a child missing the first day of 'real' school. Instead, he stayed home, slept, and even got a few subjects done in his better hours. 2) We have always done English and history homeschool after the morning ...

Blogs I love to read. Dani and Dave, Meredith and Adeline. Tell me when this blog is updated. We landed in Colorado May 16th, after the easiest trip ever. Travelling with all our children four and older is wonderful! We highly recommend it. We enjoyed a home gathering of our church in Boulder, reuniting us with some of our kids' longest term friends- the McCulloughs. And we enjoyed breakfast with a high school friend and her family! Blogs I love to read. Dani and Dave, Meredith and Adeline. Tell me when this blog is updated. Multiple dips in fog, almost 90% humidity and -24C produces spectacularly thick frost! We are enjoying some sunny days with bitter cold temps. I haven't tried walking or skiing on the river yet, but hope to soon! Our kids go sledding (or plastic snow-boarding) in the park every day. Even on the -24 day, we went for a short time! Moon over Finnish Gulf. Now, I understand why people come to St Pete as tourists....

Sunday, August 16, 2009. Happy 1st to Sophia! We can hardly believe that it has been one year since we have been blessed to have Sophia in our family. She is such a cutie and it is truly amazing to see her grow and interact with us and the world! Lord, thank you so much for our precious Sophus'kin! She wanted to grab the candle more than the pie! At the pool...

My Babushka Anna had passed away on the 31st of December. My family did not contact me since they thought that I would get too upset. I am doing ok. Grandma was the middle sister, her two other sisters died much earlier. She was the last to go from that generation. A week after ...
